Friday 2 September 2016 - On a superbly sunny spring day, team Firequip and Firequip Accessories participated in the 13
th Annual IFE (Institute of Fire Engineers) Golf Day held at Huddle Park Golf and Recreation in Linksfield, Johannesburg.
It was an early start for the team as Wade and the rest of the Firequip 4 ball, Shaun, Tobie and Zenneth (the gents from
Bhubesi) teed off at 9:30am. Meanwhile, Bianca, Andrew and Chantal set off to hole 14 to set up the much needed watering hole.
The IFE Golf Day once again boasted a great turn out with industry leaders from all over the country showing up to take part and show off their golfing skills. Results for the day were mixed – The course proved challenging at times with plenty of opportunities for players to lose their balls. Lost balls and all, a great day was enjoyed by all.
While the Firequip 4 ball humbly captured last place for the day, the watering hole team kept spirits high with a twisted gamed of darts that left players spinning on the 14th hole. After a quick stop to re-hydrate and win some prizes, players continued on to finish up the course.
A big thanks to everyone involved in making the IFE Golf Day a success and congratulations to all the participants and prize winners . . . Until next year.
