Viking's Helideck Nozzle is designed for quick suppression of flammable liquid fuel fires on helipads. This unique configuration seats the nozzle in a specially engineered receiver box that also serves as a cover for the drain. Installed flush with the deck of the protection area, Helideck Nozzles spread AFFF foam solution over burning liquid faster than oscillating monitors due to their location at the deck level where fuel spills occur. Helideck Nozzles deliver a uniform minimum discharge pressure of 40 psi (2.8 bar) and are available with a 360°, 180°, or 90° discharge pattern to meet design requirements. (Larger helipads may require additional nozzles on the pad perimiter.)
